Messi should return to Barcelona

Lionel Messi should return to Barcelona when he leaves PSG and come to a place where he is liked and adored. Other destinations could be the Saudi team Al Hilal or the MLS team Inter Miami.

PSG was a bad move

The time at PSG has been a big miscalculation for him. He has only managed 31 goals in 72 league games. Maybe these are good numbers if you are a regular striker, but for a player of Messi’s calibre, we should expect him to score twice as much or at least 20-25 more goals.

The fact that it is a worse league than La Liga also means that the numbers spontaneously feel worse than they should be.

It has also been seen in him that he does not have joy left, and something is missing. For the fans to boo him is almost a mockery to do to such a great player.
The last time I read about Messi, he was on his way to the Saudi club Al Hilal, and I think that isn’t a wise choice.

Al Hilal next destination?

According to other news articles, he will receive a whopping $434 million a season and close to $1 billion in total wage. It is not easy to say no to such an amount of money, even if you already have plenty of money in the bank. I hope he decides with his heart and not his wallet.

The question is, do Barcelona afford to take on Messi again? The club have financial problems, which is why Messi left in the first place. Can they afford to bring him back?

There have also been rumours US based Inter Miami CF, co-owned by David Beckham, in the MLS is interested in signing Messi.

He’s turning 36 this year, and there is limited time left in his career, and to end it at Barcelona would be the best ending for him. If he signs for Al Hilal, he will be 38 when the contract ends. Will he be fit enough to play at the top level in La Liga?
